HAIR CARE 101

Brush hair thoroughly multiple times a day. As hair starts to grow from initial install, hold the base of your extensions for extra support to eliminate unnecessary tension or pulling while you brush.

Minimize air drying the weft if possible to avoid scalp irritation and the seam swelling/pulling. Take a quick blow dry to the seam after towel drying hair.

Always use professional products including sulfate & paraben-free shampoo and conditioners that add moisture. Avoid bond building products such as Olaplex. Visit our shop for some of our favorite options!

Hair extensions do not produce the natural oils that your scalp has so leave-in conditioners and a deep conditioning mask are highly recommend every week. Thermal protectant is a must. Hair oil can be used daily on mid-shaft to end.

When sleeping, low braids and buns reduce the tension on corners.

Avoid excessive swimming in chlorinated pools or salt water.

If swimming, rinse hair & apply leave in conditioner prior.

Firm braids are recommended to reduce tangling.

DO NOT use sunscreen with “AVOBENZONE”. It will turn your hair pink/orange. Use Zinc based sunscreen only! Try the GoldieLocks® Sheer Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30.
